For Everyone: Couples, Singles, and Families

The Connections lay ministry at Unity of Fairfax in Oakton, Virginia, provides social opportunities for church members, prospective members, and friends--including couples, singles, and families.
Throughout the year we meet for fun and friendship, mostly at free or low-cost, inclusive and interactive events. Often, Connections partners with other ministries to co-sponsor economical, social occasions.
Three or four weeks before each event, a detailed, informational flyer about it becomes available on the Welcome Table in the Unity of Fairfax Atrium. As the event approaches, brief reminders appear in Sunday bulletins, weekly emails, Community News presentations at the 11:00 AM service, and the Events page of the Unity of Fairfax web site.
The Events page lists all imminent activities of the church.
Connections lists only social activities the Connections ministry arranges or co-arranges for the rest of the year. Each entry about an event updates as more and more details are fleshed out in preparation for it. To plan your calendar in advance, consider returning often.
Join an activity that beckons your heart. While at play, please introduce yourself. Leave, remembering at least one new face you met.
